Patchwork pieces of the city, flora, plants, vegetation and spaces. How is your landscape doing? Notes about perception, reception, adaptation, imitation, translation in reproduction and historical traces. Nature has been destroy, ravaged, and will be again. And for a good reason, I think that this degree that I am pursuing in Landscape Architecture, this thesis, is literally the subject itself of my research. In a direct translation from french to English, this essay would be a "memoire", so a memory. It relates better to landscape as the memory of the landscape where private space and intimacy are in constant conflict with our architectural construction. What better ways to camouflage and merge with the surroundings then to be in a refuge? What does the refuge represent? This is the refuge issue.
